The Earl of Denbigh's Will
Probate of the will and codicils has been granted, nnd the value has been estimated for probate nt £95,890, of the personal estate of the Hijjht Hon RucU olph William Basil Feildinj?, eighth Karl of Denbigh and Enrl of Desmond, Viscount Feilding and Viscount Callnn, Baron St. Liz and Baron Feilding, and j Count of Hapsbure. Rheinfelden. and Lauffenberg in the Holy Roman Empire. Grand Cross of the Order of Pius IX., J.\>. and D L., High Sheriff of Flintshire 1850, late of Newnham Paddoz, Lulterworth, who died on the 4th March last, aigei 69 years. The acting executors of Lord Denbigh's will, which bears date the 12th of December, 1890, with condicils made the 19th December, 1890, nnd loth June, 1891, are his son, Rudolph Robert Basil AJovsius Augustine, ninth Earl of Denbigh, and Mr Henry Haddon Care, of Manor House, Brigjf. The tes* tator directs that his children shall be brought up in the Catholic faith which he professed, and he desired that the executors should write to the Rev Father General of the Capuchins at Rome, the Father General of the Camadoles, and the Father General of the Order of St. Camillus of Lillis Santa Madalena at Rome to remind them that he was aggregated to their respective Orders. Lord Denbigh bequeaths to his twin sister, Ladj Mary, the chronometer bequeathed (o him by Queen idelaide; to his son, Francis Edward, certain plate, and such a sum as, with his share of settled trust funds, will make up £15,000; to hi* son, Basil George (whom/ the testator states, " it is my consolation to . beliere will take holy orders") €300 until he is 21 years of age, and then £300 a year until he is 26 years of age, and then £10,000. Having settled £10,000 on his daughter. Lady Wiaefride Carey-Elwes, Lord Denbigh bequeaths to his daughters, the Ladies Clare, Edith, and Agnes Feilding, £2000 each, and in trust for Lady Clare and Lady Agnes £8000 each. After the death of Lady Denbigh annuites of £200 each are to be paid to Lady Clare and Lady Agnes until the death or marriage of either, or until either of them shall enter into religion, and then an annuity of £3000 to the other until her death or * marriage, or until she shall enter into religion. He bequeaths to Lady Denbigh £5000: and such plate and pictures, furniture, and household effects, horses and carriages as she may choose (except ing the works of Thomas Pennant), and he devises to her his freehold houses and some adjoining property at Street .Ashtqn. ■•:■■■'■•• ■ ■■
