The New Zealand Lean and Mercantile A«ency Company (Limited) advise they have received the following cable from their London office, dated September 3 :— Frozen meat— Market firm. Canterbury mutton is worth 4id and Wellington mutton 3jd per lb. Prime New Zealand lambs are worth, per carcase. 6|d per lb. JN T ew Zealand beef— Forequarters are worth 3 id and hindquarters 5d per lb. Beef quotations nominal. Tallow — Market steady. Pine mutton tallow is worth L 26 and good beef L 23 lUs per ton.
