It is very Bingular coincidence that the Eussian Government in making their initial advances on our Indian frontier, did so ostensibly for the advancement of geological research, and that the Russian Spy who was arrested in Brisbane a few days ago in tho act of taking photographs of the fortifications in Townsville, should assert that he was preparing a report to the Eussian Government on the miniug industry in Australia.
