The Cholera
IVSVL UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. j Berlin. August 26. Eight hundred cases of cholera and three hundred deaths have been reported in Hamburg since the outbreak. The baths, markets, and theatres have been closed, and meetings and dances have been prohibited. Germany has stopped traffic along the Eussian frontier. August 29. Dr Koch expects the cholera will spread in Hamburg, and affect all parts of the city owing to the bad wates supply. The cholera has broken out in Breo men and is increasing to an alarming ex« tent in Hamburg, where 200 deaths were reported on Saturday. It is also spreading to the towns and districts in the vicinity of Hamburg, Numbers of wealthy people are leav« ing the place, and prayers are offered in the churches for the check of the epi» demic. Vienna, August 29. Prince Esterhazy has recovered from his attack of cholera. St. Petkrsbubg, August 27. The death rate in Russia from cholera continues at about 300 daily. London, August 27. Prince Esterhazy, military attache to the Austrian Legation, is ill, and his ailment is cholera. A third pauper immigrant from Hamburg has died at Gravesend from cholera, and another has been placed in quarantine. August 28. Cholera has made its appearance in the Metropolis and the cases discovered have been prevented from coming to the country. It is reported that the epidemic has broken out in Aberdeen and Glasgow. August 29. Two sailors at Grimsby and one at Midlesborough, who had arrived in vessels from Hamburg, were attacked by cholera, and the latter, died. Paris, August 29. Twenty-fiye deaths from cholera are reported at Havre.
