STEVENS <& GOKTON, in returning their most cordial thanks for lluvery hearty support they hnve received from the settlers in (hetr district during the last fourteen years, beg to notify to tbe public that owing to the very large extension of their business, and to do* niestic reasons, the principals, Edward Gorton and Kichard Slinßsby Abraham, have mutually consented to divide the business on 30th September next. That portion in the district north of the Oroua river (excepting Foxton) will be carried on by Edward Gorton, under the name of Gorton and Son ; that portion south of the Oroua river (including Foxton) under the name of R. S. Abraham. The Awahuri yards will jointly be retained by the two new firms, each selling there alternate months, and it is hoped, by the great* er attention which will be devoted to their respective businesses, the new firms will receive the same liberal support as has always been accorded to the old firm. For the remainder of the year 1892 the new firms will adhere to the sales fined in the old firm's calendar.
