Wellinoton August 11. The Hon Mr Baruicnot moved the second reading of the Methodist Church Properly Trust Act Amendment Bill. After discussion the Bill was read a second time. The Friendly Societies Act Amendment Bill lodges to have their property protected, was read a second time, The Land Transfer Act Amendment Hill was a^ain taken in committep and passed, the third reading being fixed for Friday. August 12. The Bible Reading in Schools Bill was thrown out.
