The final of the three matches between F. Bowen and Joe Scott commenced at the Garrison Hall to<nigbt, when the two men were despatched on the 24 hours' journey. Bowen won the 50 mile and Scott the 12 hours, and tne winner of the present event will take the £100 a side deposited. Both men started at 10 o'clock. At midnight the tally wasScott, 10 miles 19 laps ; Bowen. 10 miles 14 laps. Shortly after midnight, when Scott had traversed 13 miles 16 laps, Bowen gave up owing to ill health. This Day.
