_ M* Freeman B. Jackson and Co. report as follows of their Johnsonrille stock sale : — The entry of beef to-day was a full one and the majority of the cattle prime. Keen competition existed throughout. Ox beef made equal to 22s the 1001 b. Sheep in moderate numbers but inadequate for trade requirements. Pigs improved in value. Cattle — Best bullocks, £9 5s to £11 2s 6d ; light and indifferent, £6 17s 6d to £7 7s 6d. Sheep.— Best Wfthers, l&s 6d to 2ls 3d ; extra Leavy, 255 ; medium sorts, 17s to 18s. Pigs. — Heary baconers, £2 9s to £2 12s 6d ; smaller, 22s 6d to 28 s 6d ; porkers, 16 s to 19s ; stores, 5s 3d to 13s.
