A wing of Heiligenberg Castle at; Baden has been destroyed by fire which originated in Princess Beatrice's bedroom. The fire in Heiligenberg Castle was caused by a maid accidentally igniting the Princess Beatrice's bed curtains. The Princess escaped in her nightdress without being burnt, and awoke the household. Her Royal Highness suffered great less in jewels and clothing. Tangier, August 1. The rebels defeated the Sultan's troops, and many of the latter are deserting and joining the former, who are marching on Tangier and burning the villages en route. The European portion of the population is greatly alarmed.
