Captain Edwin telegraphs :-»- Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day — Telegrams to expect frost haye been sent to all places southward of New Plymouth. The annual stock-taking sale at the Bon Marche, Palmerston North, is now proceeding. The firm are determined to reduce their present stock at least £2000 previous to the annual balance, and prices have been made accordingly. Purchasers of Drapery and Clothing at this establishment have the benefit of a £6000 stock to select from.— Advt.
