■• Mr Shearer's replace advertisement appears to-day. Cricketers are reminded of the meeting to be held at Colyton on Monday next. Mr Fred Keen has just received a special line of watertight boots. Entries for Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co.'s Palmerston sale are published to-day. A brooch found yesterday morning, in Warwick street, has been left at this office. Additions are made to-day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's stock sale at Feilding on the 29th instant. A meeting of persons desirous of forming a Working Men's Club will be held on Monday, in Mr Halley's Boarding House, Manchester street. Mr John Bartholomew invites tenders for bushfelling at the Kiwitea. Applications for particulars may be made at the mill Kiwitea, or at Feilding. Messrs Allan and Co. havo an advertisement in our wanted column to-day, to the effect that they aro the local agents for Carter and Co.'s well-known seeds, a large stock being on hand to choose from.
