Memoranda An important advertisement from the Clerk of the Manchester Road Board, Mr C. Bray, appears in another column. Wahneb's world «renouned Cor/iline Corsets just opened at J. B. Hamilton's. These Corsets are boned with a new substance, which is vastly superior to horn or whalebone ; it cannot break, but will in every instance outlast the corset— the most comfortable and healthful corset known. Also, the Freedom Bodice, for little Britons ; the most com* fortable, economical, and rational bodice ever offered, ensuring great freedom of action, indispensable to growing children. Parents are requested to give these corsets a trial. To be had only from J. B. Hamilton, direct importer. — Advt S. J. Thompson wishes the public to understand that he has determined to make the sale of his stock one of the most noted that has hitherto been held in Feilding. All goods have been, and are continuing to be marked down to the " bed rock" in price. He is giving an immediote bonus of from 15 to 20 per cent on all purchases. His patrons have not to wait for problematical dividends while it is at once available. A list of the reductions effected in clothing, boots, and general drapery is now in course of preparation, and will appear in the Stau of Thursday next, meanwhile the sale is characterised as a " realiszatiou sale," to effect a speedy clearance. No profits are looked for at this sale. The wholesale prices are all our customers are asked to pay, which must be in cash. — Advt.
