STARVING OUT THE STBIKEBS. Washington, July 17. The Idaho strikers conducted two him* dred non->Unionisrs away, threatening them with death if they returned. A discussion on the Idaho strikes took place in Congress. The opinion was generally expressed that the rioters had deliberately prepared for a struagle with the authorities. An attempt is being mode to resume work with non« Unionists, but a body of 200 were charged and dispersed bj the strikers. New Yobk, July 18. The troops hare arrested five thousand miners at Idaho, and a number of citizens whose sympathies are known to be with the strikers have also been placed in custody. Fifteen hundred strikers, well armed, are entrenched in the mountains, but the troops are ■tarring them out by preventing supplies reaching them. The men employed on railway lines converging in Pittsburg have re* fused to handle materials intended for Carnegie's mills. Mr Carnegie was hanged in effigy at Littlerlock.
