A match under the Association Football Rules was played in Wanganui on Wednesday, between the College and Mr G. C. Hare's eleven from Feilding. After an interesting game, in whicii the college had rather the best of the play, the visitors were defeated by two goals to none. The visiting team turned up several men short, and had to enlist the aid of substitutes, some of whom displayed more zeal than knowledge of the game. We hope, now that Association football has been started in the district, those who play the game will do their best to keep it going. We bear a match has been arranged with Wellington to be played iv Feilding shortly.
