London, July I L. The anti-Parnellites cut up the roads in South Clare, in order to prevent their opponents attending meetings. Two hundred men, armed with pitchforks and knives, chased Parnell's sup* porters for miles, and ultimately they were compelled to seek refuge m the police barracks. Ton^Curran, a McCarthyite, was elected for Sli<ro South. The Ulster men are making great preparations to celebrate the Orange anniversary to-morrow, and resolutions similar to those carried at the Belfast Convention will be submitted. At the elections the Unionists have polled 1,290,121, Home Rulers, 1,311,45], Labour representatives, 32,706.
