TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sib, — As you are aware, Mr Steven's is advertised to address the electors at Beaconsfield, on Saturday, Jane- 25th. Now everyone, especially labouring me n, don't see the papers, or even so possibly might not see the advertisement so I put up some posters advertising the - matter to give everyone a chance to hear Mr Stevens. I would do the for • Mr Bruce if he bad no supporters of his own to. do so, on. the principle that every candidate should have a fair hear* ing. - Evidently some of Mr.Bruce's Supporters don't believe in fair 4 fact that the posters were hardly pat up when some of them were pulled down again. This shows that they are aware that Mr Bruce 1 * arguments won't stand the light of truth, and they are. aftaid : o f the electors iearinet Mr Steven's truthful and convincing statements. you for your space. "
