A hordo of blacks attacked a camp of three men on the Leopold rauges aud killed two of the men named .Robert Allan and Thomas Henry Former who were New Zealanderc. Buisuane, This Day, Captain Curran, uud five men comprising the crew of the schooner Wareka of Auckland, have arrived ut Maryborough in a decked boat after being nine days at sea. The schooner was wrecked at Loug Islaud. Sidney, June 17. Tlic Katoomba and Shoiio hayo returned to Noumea after destroying several villages in the New Hebrides iv revenge for Sawer's murder. The landing party found that the natives had fled to the interior, but further attempts will shortly be made to secure the murderers. Mklbouune. .June 17. A peculiar case has been brought to light here. A Mrs Parker, awaiting trial on the charge of perjury, was bailed out without the knowledge of her solicitor, and she turned up at Albury, accom* panied bj a well-known solicitor and another gentleman. Hhe declares that she was drugged and taken, to Albury against her will. She has again mysteriously disappeared, and her solicitor, who has returned from Albury, denies that he hasj any knowledge of her whereabouts
