London Markets
« The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following London cablegram, dated 10th June : — " Frozen meat — Beef market dull ; fore and hind-quavters are worth 2|d and 3^d per lb respectively ; quotations nominal. Mutton market quiet ; Wellington is worth 3Jd, and Canterbury, 4£d per ib. Lamb market quiet; quotations unchanged since last telegram. Tallow — Market easier ; good beef and fine mutton is worth 24s 6d and 26s 3d per cwt respectively."
