Owing to the increased traffic in the Suez Canal the Company has decided to make a reduction in January next of 50 centimes per ton in the charges upon vessels passing through the canal. Intelligence from Venezuela states that a German vessel conveying arms for the insurgents, under General Crespo, has been seized at Saicedo. « Hundreds are deserting the ranks of the President's troops and joining the insurgents, who have surrounded Caracas, the capital of the Republic. A mutiny broke out among the Government troops at Maracy, near Caiacas, and 40 were killed and many wounded. News has been received that a revolt has broken out in Honduras, and that the insurgents have captured La Puebla and Cortez. Many were killed and wounded in the engagement. Berlin, June 3. The Czar and Kaiser will meet at Keil on June 7. St. Perersburg, June 3. Many Germans and Auetrians were suddenly expelled from Warsaw. Vienna, June I. The Berkenburgh silver mine, near Prague, in Bohemia, has caught fire. Fourteen miners were burned to death. June 2. The Hungarian Diet has carried a reso* lution which makes provision to equalise the liberty of the churches, In the course of a speech to«day the Emperor declared he had no fear of a great war arising in the near future. June 3. Eleven more dead bodies were recovered from Berkenburgh silver mine near Praqgue. Two hundred men are still missing.
