The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, (Limited), hare received the following London cablegram, dated 27th May, 1892:— Tallow-The market is easier, and quotations have declined 3d per cwt since last report. Frozen meat— The mutton and lamb markets are quiet. Wellington and Canterbury mutton is worth respectively 4d and 4|d per lb, Canterbury lamb is worth 5-Jd per lb. Tlie beef market is dull, and quotation are nominal. The market is overstocked with American beef.
