The following are the details at the Wanganui Steeplechase Meeting held on the 24th May : — Flying Stakes.— Torpedo 1, Tulloch 2, Hakiuiana 3. Diyidend, £2 Bs. Wanganui Handicap Steeplechase. — Couranto 1, Lyndoora 2, Flintstone 3. Dividend, £3 6s. Hunters Steeplechase Handicap.— The Master 1, Warlock 2, The Doctor 3. Dividend, £4 18s. Winter Oats Handicap. — St. Malo 1, Tulloch 2, Durus 3. Dividend, £3 Is. Trial Steeplechase Handicap.-— Empire 1, Flintstone 2, Corsair 3. Dividend, £39 7s. Hack Flat Handicap. — Natatorial f, O'Rourke f , Daisy Clipper 3. Dividends, Natatorial, £12 lis; O'Rourke, £5 3s. Final Handicap Steeplechase. — Whalebone 1, Warlock 2, The Dunce 3. Previous to Wanganui Races Commotion was sold to Mr L. Gollan, the price paid being £300. The results at the Horowhenua (Otaki) meeting on Tuesday was as follows : — Trial Handicap— Poinsettia 1, Bloomsbury 2, Cameo 3. Dividend, £12 14s. Stewards' Handicap — Tangikai 1, Jenny Laid 2, Huia 3. Dividend, £10 7s. First Hurdles — Ahtiroa 1, Songster 2, Waiwiu 3. Dividend, £3 9s. Horowhenua Cup— Tangikai 1, Sunbeam 2, Poinsettia 3. Dividend, £5 12s. Second Hurdles— Oraahu 1, Songster 2, Minnie Clyde 3. Dividend £2 13s. Ben Bolt won the Selling, and Blooinsbery the Scurry, the dividends, being £5 5s and £3 15s respectively. At the Dunedin Birthday Meeting on Tuesday, Little Arthur won the Hurdles, Cabus the Maiden, Don Pedro the Birthday Handicap, Lady Zetland the Tradesmen's Handicap. On the second day Torquois won the Selling Hurdles, and paid diyidends of £14 19s and £43 4s. Kulnine beat Prime Warden in the Provincial Handicap, and Don Pedro won the Welter, paying £46 dividend.
