Feilding Fire Brigade

A meeting of the above was held last night to make final arrangements in connection with the tea and concert on Tuesday next. Present— Capt. P. Thomson, Lieut. Eade, Foreman Ranger, Branchman Kitchen, Firemen Collins and Keen, and the Secretary. The several reports were read, and all were satisfactory. In cash £12 had been collected, and three tables promised. All preparations had been made for fitting up the Assembly Rooms, at which all firemen are requested to attend (in uniform if possible) to assist. In the case of Fireman Ahem, of the New Plymouth Brigade, for whom subscriptions are now being raised, the Secretary said he had received word that the illness was caused through attending at a fire.
