Memoranda. <» Mr J. S. Milson has an interesting notice in our wanted column to.day. Additional entries for Messrs Freeman R. Jackson Co.'s Palmerston sale are published to-day. The Engineer of the Kiwitea Road Board, Mr C. Bray, invites tenders for public works, also applications for the position of roadman for the Waituna Ward. A leather satchel lost on the Awahun road is advertised for. Additions are made to day to Messrs Stevens and G-orton's Awahun sale. Mr Pemberthy, of Makmo, advertises for sale a second hand trap and harness. Twelve good bushmen are advertised for. Apply Adolph. Goldfinch, Midland road. Mr H. F. Jannings, of the Ready Money Store, Feilding, has a replace advertisement in to-day. Mrs Richards, of Warwick street, Feilding, intimates that at her boarding house visitors to Feilding and residents can be provided with a comfortable home at moderate charges. Mr Milson will receive orders for firewood on behalf of Mr A. C. Haycock. An advertisement of great importance to members of the Ashurst Small Farm Association is inserted to-day by the secretary, Mr F. W. Whibley. Tenders are invited by Mr Thos. H. James, architect, Palmerston North, for the erection of a dwelling at Colyton. We are desired to state that the architect wishes to keep the plans at his office, but intending contractors are requested to communicate at once with him, sending address, when he will send plans and specifications for one evening. During the present month we are prepared to send full dress lengths of any of the undermentioned new winter fabrics, free by " parcel post " to any address. The goods are all new this season and splendid value. Country residents should send for patterns to Te Aro House, Wellington. The amount of the order should be sent at the same time in postal notes, post office or cheque made payable to James Smith, Te Aro House, Wellington. The following are the goods referred to:— Full dre*s length of good quality Melton in any shade for 10s ; full dress length of superior quality Melton for 12s ; full dress length of granite tweed for 12s ; full dress length of grey homespun for 12s. Any of these sent free by " parcel post " from Te Aro House, Wellington. The New Zealand Clothing Factory have just received between 200 and 300 patterns of tweed for special measure, consisting of Mosgiel, Kaiapoi, Oamaru, Timaru. fioslyn, Ashbnrton, and Petone tweeds and worsteds, all orders entrusted to the manager will receive careful and prompt attention.— Advt.
