Messrs Laery an-i Co, of Wellington, report for the past week as follows : — Grain-— Wheat ' Market still continues weak, although values are without any quotable change. A few unimportant transactions have taken place at last week's prices. Prime milling is worth 3s lid to 4s Id ; medium to good, 3s 6d to Us 9d ; fowls' feed, 2s 9d to 3s 6(1 Oats! Large quantities are now offering-, but sales during th)we< j k havo. only been on a limifced scale, and prices slightly in favor of buyers. We quote bright, stout feed Is 10d ; ordinary, Is 8d to Is 9d. Barley : Market firm. All prime malting samples coming forwaid find buyers a!; our quotati3ns. Prime malting, 8s 8d toSslld medium, 3s 4d to 3s 7& feed,2s6dto2sßd. Chaff. — Pair demand. Oaten sheaf, 62s 6d to 655 ; oaten straw, 455. Flour. — Very little business doing. Stone £11 ; roller, £11 10s to £12. Dairy Produce* — Butter : In fair demand- Prime dairy, 9d. ; separator, lOd to Ud. Hams and Bacon ; Brisk demand at 6^ to Bd. Eggs : Fresh are worth. Is 7b ; limed are dull of sale at 6b to Is 3d.
