At the former cattle sold well, but sheep were if anything a' little lower than previous rates. At Awahuri recent rates were maintained, and at both sales nearly all the stock was qnitted. Our quotations areCattle— At Awahuri: Syr steers, L4 9s ; fat cows, L4 los to L6 Is ; 2yr steers, L2 15s ; mixed weaners, 22s 6d to 425 ; cows in calf, L3 7s; milkers, yarious prices from L5 to L6. At Hunterville : Fat heifers, L4 13s 6d ; fat cattle, L5 2s ; 3to 4yr steers, L4 16s ; 2£ to 3yr steers, L4 ; 2 year mixed, L3 7s 6d ; 18-month steers, L2 16s; weaners and yearlings, 87s 6d ; cows, L2 10s to L2 15s. Sheep— At Awahnri: Fat wethers, 12s 6d ; 2to 4- tooth ewes, 13s lid ; breeding ewes, 6s 6d to 10s Id ; woolly lambs, 7s 6d to Bs. At Hunterville : 2-tooth ewes, 98 Id to 9s 6d ; shorn lambs, 6s to 6s 4d ; wethers, 11s 6d to 12s 9d.
