At the inquest on the body of Kattan, the victim of the Helena Bay tragedy, the jury returned a verdict of wilful muider against Butler, who has been taken to Whangarei and lodged in cus« twdy there to await his trial. Kattan w.is a native of Swizerland and a skilful grape grower and wine maker. He was about 3U or 35 years of age.
