♦ [ PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Sydney, April 21. The weather for the A.J.C. Autumn Meeting was showery but there was a good attendance. All-Aged Stakes. OnG mile. — Bungebah, 1; Trieste, 2; Marvel, 3. Two other starters were Strathmore and Lady Edda. Betting — Even money Marvel, 3 to 1 Trieste, 4 to 1 Bungebah and Strathmore. Won by half a length. Time lmin 41sec. Cumberland Stakes, w.f.a. Two miles. — Marvel, 1 1; Highborn, 2; Strathmore, 3. Stromboli was the only other starter. Betting— 2 to 1 ajjst. Strathmore, 3to 1 Marvel and Stromboli, 4 to 1 Highborn. Stromboli led past the stand, with Marvel, Highborn, and Strathmore next. Much the same order was maintained along the back of the wnrs« except that Highborn had drawn a little nearer the leader, and had him beaten at the sheds. Strathmore then put in his claim. Highborn was first in the straight, but a clinking race home resulted in a length victory for Marvel, who, under the whip, had come yery fast from the distance. Time, 3min 43£ sec. The public showed Btrong disapprobation ol Marvel's victory in the face of his defeat in the All-Aged Stakes. April 22. Stromboli has been sold to Mr Lloyd for 1000 guineas, and Corvette to Hales for 260 guineas.
