Feilding Fire Brigade
♦ A meeting of the aboye was held at the Brigades' station last night. Lieut. Shearer was in the chair. The attendance was not as good as it might have been. We should like to see some of the older members attend more regularly. • The election of officers for the ensuing year took place, with the following results: — Captain, Mr P. Thomson; Foreman Eade was elected Lieutenant ; Beanchuiau Keen, Foreman ; Fireman Tank, Secretary ; Fireman Parker, Treasurer ; Fireman T. Kitchen, Branchman ; Fireman Ranger, Sub-brancbman ; and Dr Sorley, re-elected Brigade Surgeon. A vote thanks was accorded to the retiring officers.
