Pigs were in mod crate numbers, and store norkers remain at low values., The suitable weather for bacon curing awakened the demand hitherto dormant during the summer months, but the prices realised wore rather below anticipations, quality con sidered. Baconers made from 34* to 38s; heavy choppers, L 2 10b to L 2 17s 6d ; forward stores 7s 6d to lls 6d ; small porkers, 13s.
