Sheep were in short, supply, The wethers wdvertisod did not come forward, eon spquently only ewes were on offer, and they being being of a good description, mado from 13s 8d to 14s 4d ; inferior sorts, 9s to lls 9d. Pigs were in mod crate numbers, and store norkers remain at low values., The suitable weather for bacon curing awakened the demand hitherto dormant during the summer months, but the prices realised wore rather below anticipations, quality con sidered. Baconers made from 34* to 38s; heavy choppers, L 2 10b to L 2 17s 6d ; forward stores 7s 6d to lls 6d ; small porkers, 13s.
