Mr Little publishes to-day an important notice to sportsmen. A splendid supply of fresh oysters was received to-day at the Shamrock Board-ing-house. Mrs H. Worsfold, of the boardinghouse, Manchester street, wants a general servant. Tenders for the erection of the Palmerston North Hospital will close tomorrow. Tenders are iavited for felling 40 acres of bush in the Harbor Board Block. Specifications may be soen at this office. The Awahun sale of Messrs Stevens and Gorton will be held on Wednesday the 20th instead of Tuesday the 19th mßt. on account of the Feildmg races. To-day Messrs Stevens and Gorton make additions to the advertisement o£ their Palmerßton stock sale. A splendid farm containing 575 acres, is advertised for sale. Intending purchasers are requested to apply to Mrs M. M. Brown, Warwick street, Feilding. Miss Stewart, of the Ladies Emporium, has a replace advertisement m to-day. Miss Stewart is now showing her very well selected stock of winter millinery, all of the newest styles. Notice is given to-day by Mr J. Notmon, Deputy Assignee, that Whitworth Russell has been adudged a bankrupt. The first meeting of creditors will be held in Wanganui to-morrow.
