At the wool sales higher prices are obtained for River Plate tops, and there is a re-action in favour of Australian wool, while the tone generally of the market is improving. Wool is very firm and bidding active, Greasy merino class has nearly recovered. Sidney, April 6. There is only a limited demand for wheat, and quotations are nominal. Flour —Stone made £11 to £11 5s ; roller made, £11 12s 6d to £12. Oats— Feeding medium, 2s 3d ; prime, 2s 6d ; seed 2s 7d 1.0 2s 8a- Potatoes, Warnambool, 35s ; Circular Heads, 45s 9d. Butter, dairy made lOd; factory, Is. Cheese, 4d to skl. Bacon, 7d to 9d. Hams, New Zealand, lOd to lid.
