London, April 2. Taliow is unchanged. The total quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 6^SOO bales, of ivhicb. 62,200 bales have been sold. Buyers are active. It is believed that merinos have touched bottom. April 4. At the wool sales there is good competition and prices remain very firm. Wheat is a shilling cheaper. New Plymouth, April 4. During the four weeks in March ninety-six tons of butter was shipped from the breakwater besides about a similar quantity going by rail to Wellington.
