The balance of the lonic's apples, which are in poor condition, have sold at from 5s to 15s per case. Twenty five boxes of potatoes ex Matntua, from New Zealand, have been sold at Id per lb. March 27. Tallow— Medium mutton, 25s 9d ; beef. 24s 3d. The total arrivals of wool up to date number 350,000 bales, includine 40,0f>0 from Cape Colony. The Cape is expected to supply 50.000. Buyers anticipate that there will be a fall of id (excepting in crossbreds and superior merinos), as consumers are unable to cope with the supplies.
