Deeming was in the habit of carrying numbers of precious stones in his pockets carelessly screwed up in paper. The doctor told him he was only pretending illness. March 25 Seventeen additional witnesses for the inquest on the bodies disinterred at Rainhill have been secured. It is reported in Liverpool that a lady who was an intimate friend of Mrs Deemmg's is prepared to swear sh& visited her on a Bank holiday week, some days after the supposed murders on the night of the 26th July. Sight seers rushed the villa to-day, overcoming the police on guard. The owner intends to demolish the house and re-build in the vicinity. Perth, March 25. Detective Cawsey has been informed through a private channel, that Williams admits the Eainhill murder, and that he was also the perpetrator of the last " Jack the Ripper" murder.
