He gave the man who watched him cementing the grave of his wife and children five sovereigns. J The barmaid identified the photo of, Mrs Deeming as that of the woman who used to visit him. Deeming was in the habit of carrying numbers of precious stones in his pockets carelessly screwed up in paper. He consulted a Eainhill doctor on the , Wednesday of the week in which the murders were committed. He appeared anxious that he should sot visit the villa. The doctor told him he was only pretending illness. March 25 Seventeen additional witnesses for the inquest on the bodies disinterred at Rainhill have been secured. It is reported in Liverpool that a lady who was an intimate friend of Mrs Deemmg's is prepared to swear sh& visited her on a Bank holiday week, some days after the supposed murders on the night of the 26th July. Sight seers rushed the villa to-day, overcoming the police on guard. The owner intends to demolish the house and re-build in the vicinity. Perth, March 25. Detective Cawsey has been informed through a private channel, that Williams admits the Eainhill murder, and that he was also the perpetrator of the last " Jack the Ripper" murder.
