Oroua Coal Creek Block
A sale of Crown lands in the Oroua Coal Creek North Block was commenced in the Crown Ltfncls Office yesterday. Of the first class land, 3164 acres, under the perpetual lease system, and 30 acres under the cash system, were disposed of. Of the second class, 520 acres under the deferred payment, and 1000 acres under perpetual lease, were sold. Between 800 and 1000 acres haye still to be disposed of, and applications for them will be recieved to-morrow. The applicants appea»* to be bona fic*e intending- settlers. — N.Z. Times.
