Nursery Handicap. — North Atlantic, 1 ; Variety 2 ; Ua, 3. Dividend, J2 Bs.
The Trial Handicap, of 30 soys; was won by Memoralis, paying a dividend of £20 Is.
Railway Handicap,— Wakawatea, 1 ; Scot Freee, 2 ; Whisper, 3. Dividend, £2 4s. March 18. The day opened gloriously, for the second day of the Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting. The feature of the meeting has been the magnificent starting of Mr Sam Powell, who elicited frequent cheers.
