THE humble petition of the undersigned ratepayers in the Kiwitea Road Board District sheweth that your petitioners whose signatures appear at the foot hereof are desirous, in terms of " The Road Board's Act, 1882," that the district, the boundaries of which are set forth below, and being the whole of the Pohangina and Ruahine Wards of the Kiwitea Road Board be gazetted a separate Road Board District to be called the Pohangina Road Board. Boundaries : — Bounded on the west by the Oroua River from the southwest corner of the Wanganui Harbor Board Endowment Block to the north-west boundary of the Feilding Special Settlement Block ; towards the north by the Oroua River to its source and from thence by a straight line to the summit of the Kuahine range and on the east by the summit of the Ruahine range to tha southern boundary of the Kiwitea Road Board District, and on the south by the southern boundary of the said Kiwites Road District to the Oroua River. And your petitioners will ever pray. Here follow the signatures.
