The fruit market has been sparsely supplied from local quarters only, and prices are commencing to rise. The glut of summer fruits is now about over, and to a certain extent we must look outside N.Z. for assortments, other than apple. Poultry is dull. Fowls, 2s 9d; ducks, 3s ; geese, 4s 6d ; turkeys, 7s per pair.
