(per press association.) London, February 15. At the wool auctions prices remain unchanged. January 17. Fourteen thousand quarters of Australian wheat, January and February shipment, sold at 395. Sydney, February 17. Wheat— Chick, 4a to 4s 6d ; milling, 4s 9d to 4s lid. Flour— Stone made, £11 to £11 10 a; roller, £12 to £12 10s. Oats, 2s 4d to 2s 6d ; maize, 2s 3d ; barley, 3s ; bran, 9f d to 10£ d ; pollard, 9£d. Potatoes-Local, £2 to £2 10a; Warnambools, £3 to £3 as. Onions, £4 oa. Cheese, 2£d to od; bacon, 7d to 7£d; New Zealand hams, lOd to lid. At the wool sales bidding was fairly actiye. Scoured in. easier and greasy lower. Greasy is fetching up to 6^d, and scoured to Is 2fd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency- Cotppany, Limited, have received the following cablegram, dated London, 16th instant : — Wool — The sales progress firmly, but there is much irregularity in the bidding. Quotations are unchanged Bince last telegram, except for superior greasy merino, for which the market is easier. The American demand is limited. The total quantity catalogued to date is 248,000 bales. Total quantity withdrawn, 22,000 bales.
