The Sydney Morning Herald in an eulogistic article referring to New Zealand's abstention from debt and borrowing and mentions the building up oi the great meat industry. The article concludes : — " New Zealand is extricating herself from her embarrassments and has shown us all the way and the only way by which true prosperity can be regained. Wellington, This Day, The Methodist Conference commences here on March Ist. It is expected upwards of one hundred clerical and lay representatives will be present.
