Electoral Districts
The following are the new boundaries of the electoral districts of Rangitikei and Palmerston :— r "" Rangitikbi. : ' : ■■' . This district is bounded towards the west and north generally by .the Wanganui Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from tbe ocean to Trig. Station No. 32, Ohinewairna Survey --District:; thence again towards the north and towards theeast by the Hawkes -ißay Electoral District, hereinbefore described, io a to a point on a summit: of theßuahine Range dne east of the northermost corner of the Pemberton Small Farm Association's Block; thence towards the south by a right line to the said corner • thence towards the south-east generally by the said Pemberton Small Farm Association's Block to the Oroua river;' thence ;byt the said Oroua river to the railway line; thence towards - the south-west generally by the railway line and by section No. 149 (Native reserve), seetidri 1 No.. 86, Block XIV., Oroua Survey District, and that portion Of sections Nos. 85 and 132 of the said Block XIV., lying to the west of a line bearing 354deg. llnm. m&gnetio from a point on the northern boundaryline of the said section No. 86 distant 796 i links from Awahuri road; thence, by a I road and Bection No. 130 of'the' said Block XIV. to Mount Taylor; thence by the said section No. 130 and sections Nos. 129 and 125, Block XFV., Oroua Survey District, sections Nos. 124, 119, 118, and 112, Block IX., Oroua Survey District, and section No, 111, Block XIL, Rkngij toto Survey District, to Mount Biggs; j thence by section No. 101, the southern I boundary-line of section No. 144 (Native reserve), and the eastern, and' southern boundary -lines of section/ Np ; 99, Block XIL, Rangitoto Survey Distriot, and .the said southern houndary-lme produced io the right Bank of the Rangitikei river; thence again 'towards «she south-east by the said Rangitikei river to the : ocean ; and thence towards the west by the. ocean to the Wanganui Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.' ,''"'' Paimbbston. . v This district is bounded towards the north-east and the north-west generally by the Rangitikei Electoral District, hereinbefore .described; towards the south-east by the Hawke's Bay Electoral District, the Waipawa Electoral District, and the Masterton Electoral District re« spectively, hereinbefore described, to« wards the south»west by tbe southwestern boundarylrne' of the block formerly known as the Township of Fitziierbert Block (part of northern boundary of jHorowhenua- County.) Jto the Manawatu River ; thence towatcU the south generally by the - said Manawatu river to its confluence with the Oroua river ; thence towards tbe west by the said Oroua river to the road leading from Sandon to Palmerston ; thence by that road to the road whioh forms the eastern boundary of section No. 64, block XVI., Rangitoto Survey District; thence^ by that road and its continuation passing sections Nos. 63,61, 60.59, 75, and 73 of the said block XVI., and passing section Nos. 108, 106, 103, and 101, block XIL. Eangitoto Survey District, lo the Rangitikei Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
