I • To take away the taste of disagreeable medicine, instead of taking agreeable substances after swallowing nauseous mixtures, it is much better to prepare the mouth before, m order that the taste may not be noticed. Aromatic substances chewed just before, or orange or lemon peel bitten into small pieces, effectually disguise the unpleasant taste of castor oil. In preparing the mouth for bitter medicine, liquorice is the only sweet that should be used, all others creating a peculiarly disagreeable compound taste. Certainly the best medicine known is Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extbact. Test its eminently powerful effects in coughs, co]ds, inf}uen?a } the relief is inn stantan^ous. In serious cases, and ac j ctdents of all kinds, be they wounds, burns, scaldings, bruises, sprains, it is the safest remedy — no swelling — no m<« Summation. Like surprising effects produced in croup, diphtheria, bronchitis, nflainmation of the lungs, swelling, &c. ; diarrhoea, dysentry, diseases of the kid" neys and urinary organs. In use at hospitals and medical clinics all over the globe; patronised by His Majesty the King of Italy ; crowned with medal and diploma at International Exhibition, Amsterdam.
