On THURSDAY, 24th December, a train will leave Wellington at 5.80 p.m., arriving at Palmerston at 10.47 p.m., and leaving at 11.2 p.m. for Wanganui, stopping at any intermediate stations if required. CHRISTMAS DAY. On FRIDAY, 25th December, the ordinary time-table will be suspended, with the exception of the through i trains between Wellington and New Plymouth, and Napier and Wanganui. The trains between Palmerston and Wellington will run as usual. BOXING DAY. On SATURDAY, 26th December, a special passenger train will leave Wanganui at 6.40 a.m., Feilding 10.15 a.m., arriving at Palmerston at 10.55 a.m., returning leaving Palmerston at 6.25 p.m., Feilding 7.5 p.m., arriving at Wanganui at 10.30 p.m., stopping at any intermediate stations if required. The train usually leaving Foxton at 9 a.m., will on this date leave at 7.45 a.m., Longburn 9 a.m., arriving at Palmerston at 9.15 a.m., and leaving there at 9.25 a.m. for Feilding, returning from Feilding at 6.20 p.m., Palmerston at 7.10 p.m. for Foxton. ON MONDAY, 28 T n DECEMBER. Excursion tickets available for return on day of issue only, will be issued from Palmerston to Wellington and vice versa. Tares ; First-class, 10s ; second-class, 7s. The afternoon train from Wellington will be delayed till 6 p.m., arriving at Palmerston at 11.35 p.m. BY ORDER. BOROUGH OF PALMERSTON NORTH.
