(THE UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION). Masterton, December 7. Mr William Macara, of this town, died yesterday from influenza, at the advanced age of 92. This Day. A sharp shock of earthquake was felt bore shortly after one o'clock this morning. Auckland, December 7. A child four years old, the daughter of A. B. Suttor, of Eureka, Waikato, was severely burned through her dress catchi ing fire, and died to-day from tho shock.
