It will thus be seen that the Pride of Sandon has some of the purest Clydesdale blood in him that has ever been im« ported to New Zealand, being such horses as tho Pride of Canterbury Glenroy, Prince of Wales, old Wellington ; on his dam's side he has such good old horses as Lord Clyde, England's Hope, and Samson, With such blood as this in him he cannot fail to get stock of as good value. He was highly recommended for third place at tho M. and W. C. Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show last year. He is considered by competent judges to be one of the best carriage horses ever imported to this colony. He was imported by John Kerr, Esq., M.H.K., who says he has no equal in the colony for getting hacks, hunters, or fust and powerful light harness horses. Oakgrovo is by Imngton, dam Druidess ; Irvington is by Itysdyk's Hamblctonian, dam Imogeno by Seeley's American Star.
