WELLINGTON RACES.
Wellington, This Day. The following are results of the Wellington races, which were run to-day : — Grand Stand Handicap. — She, 1 ; Prestige, 2; Rebellion, 3. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 48 l-ssecs. Dividend, £6 16s. Hurdles. — Beggarman, 11-6, 1 ; Somnambulist, 12-0, 2; Matchless, 9-0, 3. Matchless led for half a mile when Beggarman went to the front and won all the way by a length. Time, 3min 31£secs. Dividend, £3 7s. Depression won the Hack Eace, beating seven others and paying £9 13s. Prestige is scratched for all engagements at the meeting.
