1 Mr A. Eade has an interesting advertisement in onr wanted column to-day, j Notice is given to-day that Bernt Johansen, the selector of section 77, block XIII, survey district of Apiti, has applied to transfer the same to A. E. Batliff. A bay mare pony, branded HOE on near shoulder, will be sold on Monday next, at 12 noon, at the public pound, if not previously released. Mr Uarthew has received a second case of books and periodicals, the titles of a faw of which he publishes to-day. Mr Keen has just received two consignment of ladies boots and shoes from the best makers in the world. The Feilding Masonic Lodge will hold an emergency meeting on Monday next at 8 p.m. Official notice is giyen to-day by the Secretary of the Wanganni Education Board, Mr A. A. Browne, that meetings of householders will be held at the schoolhouse, Cheltenham, and at the schoolEambolton road, respectively on Monday, tho I4th of December, to eleot school committees and to deiino boundaries for the new school districts. Tenders are invited by the Engineer of the Kiwitea Eoad Board, Mr C. Bray, for forming and metalling about 26 chains of the Eena road, Plans and specifications may be seen at the Board's office, Eeilding, and at Mr Lowes' Hotel, Birmingham. 'Tenders will close on sth December.
