AN EXPLANATION. TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir — Having the pleasure of knowing some of the men who went to Australia for the shearing season, I beg to contradict the " True Blue's " statement, as to their being mean and ■wanting in manliness ; and I think, Mv Editor, you will agree with me that the being who would attack his fellow colonists, in the way " True Blue " expressed himself in your issue of Saturday last, without signing his name, is hardly worthy of notice. But, being a farmer, I should like to hear the other side of the question, and trust through your paper to do so. I am, Sec. John Saxon.
