Volcanic Outburst
[pee pbess association.] Auckland, This Day. Plate Island, ofl the Maketu in the Bay of Plenty, buist out yesterday morning throwing up fire balls and smoke. Earthquakes were felt at Eotorua and Poverty Bay at the time of the outbreak of the volcano. Tauranga, This Day. The volcanic outbreak is doubted. The fires are supposed to have been lighted by fishing parties. A steamer has gone to investigate. ________
