EULES AND EEGULATIONS. £ Nominations for Champion Eace and all handicaps, including jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before Wednesday,* 9tli December, not later than 8,30 p.m. Competitors are , requested to torward Postal Notes and not Stamps. Two shillings on each handicap event and full entry money for Champion Eace to be paid on Nomination, ' accompanied by a statement of pub- ' lie performances for the last two ' years (matches included), with dates ' and localities of such performances ; the ' remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, 1 which can be made on the ground ; other ; events post entries. Colors must be ' named on nomination. ' The committee reserve the right to run : any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must be members of some Athletic Society, and must produce certi- ; ficates to that effect. ' Any competitor found guilty of send--1 ing in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud shall be disqualified for life. The committee reserve the right to require any conmetitor either before or ' after any event to make a declaration as to his identity aud the correctness of his description of his performances. Tlie committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and ho shall not be entitled to claim any prize.
